## What Rates & Revenue does

- **Seasonal and date-range rates** — high season, low season, weekends, events and public holidays.
- **Room-type pricing** — independent prices per room type and per rate plan.
- **Derived rates** — child plans that follow a parent by a percentage or fixed amount (e.g. Non-refundable = BAR − 10%).
- **Occupancy-based pricing** — single, double, triple and quad rates plus extra-adult and child tiers.
- **Length-of-stay restrictions** — minimum and maximum stay, closed-to-arrival (CTA) and closed-to-departure (CTD), per date and per plan.
- **Promo and discount codes** — percentage off, fixed amount off, or free nights, with booking and stay windows, minimum stay and redemption limits.
- **Channel-specific rates** — separate prices for OTAs, corporate accounts, walk-ins and the direct website.
- **Occupancy-based auto yield** — rules that move the price as the hotel fills and arrival approaches, always inside a floor and a ceiling.
