What Direct Booking Engine does
- Your own booking page — guests search, price and book directly; bookings use the same path a clerk uses, so the no-double-booking guarantee holds.
- Multi-room booking — guests can book several rooms in one checkout.
- Tentative until confirmed — unconfirmed web bookings lapse and the room returns to sale automatically.
- Email confirmation — the guest confirms their email; unopened bookings release sooner.
- Deposits — nothing, first night, a percentage or a fixed amount, paid on the gateway’s own page and posted to the folio automatically.
- Card holds for no-shows — freeze the amount and take it only if the guest never arrives.
- Refunds, whole or partial — sent back through the gateway, manager permission required.
- Guest self-cancellation — an emailed link releases the room up to a cut-off you set.
- Payment gateways — Stripe, bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz and bank gateways are integrated; every gateway starts in sandbox and must be tested before it goes live.
- No card data at bedsKey — every payment happens on the gateway’s own page.
Nagad, SSLCommerz and bank gateways (Brac Bank, City Bank, DBBL) are available alongside Stripe and bKash. bKash go-live depends on the hotel’s own merchant account.
